replacing dimension manually with letters

Can anybody share, how to replace dimension in 2d drafting manually. I want to replace a dimension with a word.

If I remember right, edit the dimension text and type in (no quotes)

@O "desired text"

That's correct...

You can only change the created dimensions though, you cannot do this with the parametric dimension.

Replace the D with the letter O, then type what you want to see.
