Good God. I've spent the last 50 minutes trying to reposition a component in NX6. I'm used to NX3 that has the Reposition method attached to the context menu of the right mouse button. NX6 though seems to have something similar called Move Object in the Edit Menu, which does display some handles, but doesn't allow me to select an object. I really could use some help.

You do NOT use 'Move Object' to move a COMPONENT, you use 'Move Component', which can be found either on the Assemblies toolbar or at...

Assemblies -> Components -> Move Component...

...or by selecting the Component, pressing MB3 and picking the 'Move...' option.

The included methods, in addition to dynamically dragging a component around on the screen using the 'drag handles', are: Point to Point, Along a Vector, Translate Delete X,Y,Z, Rotate about Axis, Rotate Between two Axes, Rotate using Points, Reposition, as well as using the same 'Constraint' optiosn as when adding a Component to an assembly only in this case no constraints are actually created, just that they can be used to reposition an existing component.

There at least twice as many options available in NX 6.0 than there was in NX 3.0 to move an unconstrained (or underconstrained) Component.
