Hi guys,

In nfpa 13 we have a table for determining required flow rate for hose stream. May you tell me what tell me which number in second column is required?
for example for light hazard we have 0, 50 and 100 gpm for hose stream flow rate. which one shall we consider?

Travis, may I ask, for other than light hazard, when your hyd. calculations include the outside underground main, do you include <combined minus inside> gpm on a hydrant outside + 100 somewhere inside or all combined somewhere outside?

Let's say OH.If you have 2 inside hose stations, your inside hose allowance is 50 gpm @ each station or 100 gpm. Your total req'd is 250 gpm. Therefore, you need to add the additional 150 gpm at the nearest hydrant.
