Is anyone aware of standards or requirements as to where curb ramps must be located? Specifically, our City has a large number of “T” intersections with sidewalks along both sides of all streets. Ramps on each side of the minor street would be required, however, is one or even two ramps required on the other side of the major street?

Any guidance would be appreciated.

I would put one across the main street. Two if you believe the ped volumes warrant that treatment. however, watch the location of stop bar and sign in relation to the crosswalk. Also note that most catch basins tend to be located in the same general area. These tend to get in the way of each other. Couple this with the 25 foot curb return and you have a nice locational problem.
