Researching diamond like carbon coatings (DLC's)

I'm currently in the process of researching diamond-like carbon coatings and others such as titanium carbonitrided coating. I will aid in specifying and equipment and process for applying these coatings.

If anyone has any suggested references on the coatings themselves and equipment and equipment supplier, I'd appreciate it.

I'll add back to this thread what I find, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
