re: Residential Dry Sidewall application

I just heard news about a new Residential Dry Sidewall, and I can't determine what the best use of this sprinkler would be. The obvious use would be for balconies, however I can't imagine an AJH having a problem with using a QR Dry Sidewall in this instance. Of course there might be the case where in an NFPA-13 application with single occupant garages could still be considered part of the dwelling unit, then a Residential Dry Sidewall could be used and possibly beneficial hydraulically. Since creating and listing a new sprinkler is so expensive, I wonder if there is something obvious that I am missing.
Thanks, Joe C.

Do you have a little no to it?

That was supposed to be link ???

Tyco has one and I was contemplating using it for a 13R today but in the end concluded the patios were "outside the dwelling unit" and figured I should use regular quick response, dry hsw. I was scratching my head as to when you could use the residential ones.

watching just to see if someone has a good suggestion for these... I can't find any and all scenarios have been covered above....

The only application I can come up with would be a wet system protecting a three season room in northern climates.
