Resin Weight of Kraft paper 1

Seeking insturmentation solutions for measuring resin weight in kraft paper. Currently using analytical balancer to weight paper samples. Weighing samples wet and dry to determine weight. Manually establishing data and responding to process control by physcially making online machine adjustments. This process is operator depended and has many variables. Any suggestions?

I would try to find some other property that changed with the change in the amount of resin weight. Maybe the electrical resistance, capacitance, porosity, transparency, reflectivty or color. Some thing I could measure on the fly and make adjustments on the fly. It will probably take some experimenting.
