Is there a way to resize the length of a section-line on a view in UG NX 7.5? In SolidWorks the user can edit or drag the section-line sketch to make it shorter/longer, but in UG I cannot find this feature. There is however the ability to size the arrow length and the distance between the bent arrow and the border of the view, but that is not what I'm looking for. Anyone care to give me a good answer? Thanks in advance.

Just select the Section-Line, press MB3 and select the Edit... option. When the 'Section Line' dialog opens, the 'Move Segment' option should already be toggled ON and the Que line should say 'Select segment to move'. Simply select the arrow symbol at the end that you wish to move and then select where you would like the new location to be, per the Que line: 'Define new segment location - Select object to infer point'. After doing this you hit OK and then update the drawing views.

double click the section line you would like to edit or move, you should be directed to the move segment operation automaticly, now pick the arrow you would like to move then click on where you would like to move it to, then click the other arrow if you want, or hit ok. your changes will not appear at this point untill you update your views, notice in the lower left hand corner that it says views out of date,
simply update your views and changes will appear.

Thanks John and theginz. Both are very helpful tip.
