Hi,

I have a bridge model made of two parts: the steel structure and the concrete deck assembled together using tie constraint.

The model works normally. but since it is a non-composite bridge, I want to assess the stress in each part (steel girders and concrete deck) and mainly the bending compressive and tensile stresses. In the visualization module, I only can see the assembly. In addition, I couldn't understand which stress results should I use: S11, S22, Max in-plane...
Your help is highly appreciated.

You can use display group tools to hide selected parts from viewport.

The choice of stress tensor component to be used for model evaluation depends on its orientation in space. For example S11 is normal stress along X axis. These components are defined in global coordinate system but you can also create local CSYS and transform tye results to it.
