Retaining wall replacement (TIMBER SHEETPILLING)

I am currently working on replacing a retaining wall made of wood, as it is failing and the wood is in poor condition.

The complication lies on the left side (retained soil), where there is a road that the client does not want to be affected (excavation is not allowed). How can I temporarily retain the soil when removing the retaining wall to ensure that the retained soil does not come loose and cause damage to the road?

Useful info: Timber sheetpiles depth appro. 10ft. backfill silty sand with loose stones, retaining approx. 800ft in legth.

Haven't done it with a retaining wall, but for sheet pile bulkheads on the water it's common to drive new sheet piles outboard of the old and back fill between - usually with a CLSM or slurry. Might be property line issues on land, though.
