Retrofitting of existing space frame systems

Dear ALL,

I'd like to know if any of you performed or experienced retrofitting of existing space frame systems where it analytically carry the axial loads only.

What is method of retrofitting ? CFRP can be used in such case or do we have to consider the total replacement of non-conforming structural elements with complyin ones. Also post-tensioning is an option or not ?
