Hi
We have individual relays Microener on our 2 alternators 45 MW 11 kV installed 2006. We have 3 such relays which have failed. These relays are obsolete now. We are planning to do a revamping with a new relay. Can you suggest some make, model which are reliable, can be communicated with online, settings can be changed online, can be ordered directly from the manufacturer? Any other aspects to take into consideration?

There are many makes of Numerical relays in the market now ABB, Siemens, GE Grid Solutions, SEL, Beckwith....
You can choose one of them based on which one is popular in your part of the world and has good service & support team etc.

Latest feedback just received similar power plants and turbine manufacturer have used GE Multilin G80 when revamping. Any feedback on this relay?
