Reverse engineering for rubber tyre 1

I want to make some toy car tyre. And I have no idea what are the material needs to be mix. So, I am planning to send some rubber tyre to a lab for analysis. According to the lab, they said they can get close to 95% of the material contains in the tyre. And they will let me know how the materials react into the rubber. So that I can fine tune the end product. It sounds too good to me. I think it should not be so easy to do the reverse engineering. So, I have some questions:

1. Analysis then use the same contents to mold the tyre. You think it works?

2. How close I can get to the lowest.

3. Is there any treatment of material? Ex, dry age for a steak. Do I need to dry age for a material.

4. Is there any company/person that can help me to get success?

We made some trials for this application. What type of toy care had you planned? There are different versions for toy car racing (final heat, trials, endurance all could be rode with different tyres) and certainly if you want a low cost general tyre.

For the high end tyres you could use norsorex

otherwise natural rubber is a good option.

I am looking for material that can make the tyre soft and with high grip, as you said is for final heat. The tyre no need to last long, just high grip and with good tensile strength.

Natural rubber is good but not good enough for my application. I had some tyres on hand made with natural rubber, they are not in competition level. It must added with something filler or other in order to provide extra grip. But I have no clue on what should be mixed.

Is the norsorex the only material that can enhance natural rubber for my application? What about other I should try?

For the thread on tyre, usually we use no thread to provide max traction. thank you

Norsorex is a replacement for the natural rubber. It is a very specific synthetic rubber and probably about 10x as expensive as natural rubber (NR).

You could add tackifiers to your compound, fe PIB for more grip. Maybe another additive that melts at 40-50°C. Don't use any waxes or anti oxidant, anti ozonant as they tend to migrate to the surface where they'll act as a non sticky layer.

To be honest I don't think you can say "NR is not good enough" just by feeling some tyres. They just might not be optimized for the one good heat.
