Here's a little tip to handle revison changes and desdcriptions from part/assembly to drawing.
In a part or assembly model, create a Note, and call it "REV0", enter the note description as "ORIGINAL RELEASE".
In the drawing, enter text in the revision table as "&REV0" and now you will see the text "ORIGINAL RELEASE".
Back in the in the model tree, select to show NOTES, FIRTS LINE. This way, you can enter new REV notes (REV0, REV1, REV2....) with their descriptions.
Why does this work? Well, notes can be created for any file type, and shown in the model tree. The same note can be entered in a drawing and have it's decription automatically shown. If you change the note description, it will also update the drawing file.
I use it for every drawing, and it really has saved time, as I can also see the most current revision changes and descriptions in the entire model tree.
