D3sign3r posed a question back in February 2006 thread559-148079 (quoted below); and SolidWorks 2009 has finally provided an answer. I hope that this info helps (solution beneath quote)!

"Is it possible to embed or create a functioning revision table in the Sheet document? That way, when I have multiple sheets for my assembly, I just have to update the one revision table and the rest of the sheets are updated automatically.
It's very time consuming having to make a revision change then go to each sheet and updating each revision table to reflect the change.
I've tied to copy the revision table from the sheet to the "edit sheet format" area, but with no success. I could try drawing my own revision table, but I have no idea what the codes are for each column.

In SolidWorks 2009 you are able to place a revision table on every sheet of your drawing. You don't need to do anything special, just add revision tables. To change the Revision Table settings; open any drawing and go to: "Tools" --> "Options" --> "Document Properties" tab --> Click on the plus (+) next to the "Tables" fly-out --> and click on "Revision".

Here you can set all of your Revision Table properties including whether you wish to see "See Sheet 1" or keep your Revision Tables "Linked".

Use "See Sheet 1" to make the Revision Table on the first sheet the active table, labeling the Revision Table on all other drawing sheets "See Sheet 1."

Use "Linked" to create a copy of the Revision Table from Sheet 1 on all sheets, updating all Revision Tables as you make revisions.

There is also an "Independent" option to make the Revision Table on each sheet independent of the other Revision Tables in the drawing. Updates to a Revision Table on one sheet are not reflected in tables on other sheets. This option is not available if you select "Enable Revision Table" in SolidWorks Workgroup PDM.
