HI I am just getting into circuit design and signal processing. I was hoping to find a book that includes RF circuit design and things like transient analysis, quench pulses. Does anyone know of a good book to read?

If you are just getting started, I suggest "RF Circuit Design" by Bowick

it will give you a very good background before you dig into the transients and pulses.

Any of the good SPICE books will get you started on transient analysis.

When you get to dealing with pulses you might find some of the references in this old link helpful

Thanks for that I actually have that book but haven't looked into it. I will now. Do you also have a suggestion about fm, am modulation, psk, fsk, qi? Thanks

You can see if these are still available:

Radio Handbook
William I Orr
SAMS #22424

Reference Data for Engineers: Radio, Electronics, Computer, and Comm
Edward C Jordan, Editor in Chief
SAMS #21563

My note that these are a good reference is dated 7/7/1995...
