Rf signal transfer

Hello All

I would like to have your opinion on the following:
I need to choose a cable that could carry low voltage signals for monitoring as well as up to 300 VPP AC signal, 1 MHZ.What would be the best cable to do it? twiste pair ect....I have encountered the following website that could help me decide,but would realy like an expert opinion.

300 vPP is about 230 watts. Not that much. And 1 MHz is not that high. So the demands on the cable aren't that high. The short answer is that you could almost use cheap RG-58 type cable (not quite!!!).

But it's likely that there are other considerations that would demand a better cable.

PS: How do you inject and extract the low level signals from the mediummpower RF? That's much trickier than choosing the cable.

PS: It goes almost without saying that it should be well-shielded coaxial cable. 1MHz is RF and the local AM stations might get upset if you leak onto their band. The whole system needs to not radiate.
