I have a drawing that calls out for ANSI 14.5M with no date. The drawing has both a true position callout with the modifier of circle S (RFS) and also has a true position without a circle S or no modifier. Does anyone think this might be a holdout from an old ANSI spec? Was there a time when MMC was assumed? Of course I'd like to assume MMC on the true position without the modifier. I do understand the current spec would be to assume RFS if not stated.
