Rigid Aluminum Conduit (RAC)

Using RAC for a few single phase 120v branch circuits. Concerned about the non-ferrous properties of aluminum and ability to shield emi from branch circuit conductors with conduit that will be light fixtures from a dimming control panel. There is some audio equipment about 15' away from where the conduit is installed.

Anyone have experience with using aluminum rigid conduit and emi problems?

Rigid Aluminum Conduit is not as good as Rigid Steel Conduit [according some studies aluminum is about 5% from steel EMI reducing effect].But 15' is a good clearance for lighting wire-usually 2-5 A, I think. See:
