Rigid and Flexible Diaphragm

I would like to know what is the algorithm or methodology that the CSI programs uses for Rigid and Flexible Diaphragm. Where Can I found this information?.

Any thought would be appreciated

I think, CSI programs considers diaphragms as rigid by default unless specifically defined as flexible by the user.
