Hello forum. I'm beyond stumped. Maybe there is an ABAQUS guru out there that can help solve my problem.
I have modeled a geometrically axisymmetric body in ABAQUS/Explicit. Please picture a conventional projectile if you will in 2D (XY) space, and assume it is rigid. It is free to translate anywhere in the plane, but can only rotate about an axis normal to the plane. Body loads are applied.
I would like to apply a vertical (Y-direction) concentrated force to a node residing at the Center of Gravity as a function of the body's angle of rotation. Trickery is obviously required. Two weeks now, and many dead ends. Any ideas?
