Hi
I want modeling a truss bridge with beam element type
Some of its joints are with rigid connection and some of them are pin or semiregid
How I can create a rigid, semirigid or pin connection?
Could anybody help me?
thanks

Constraints -> MPC (select nodes) -> Pin

What do you mean with semi rigid? Something that behaves like a spring? In that case you can make a connector between the points and assign a connector behavior with elastic stiffness in certain directions.

thanks for your comment "sdebock"
there is another problem
to assign tie or pin property we have to select two point
if we have two beam element with a joint and want to make it a rigid joint there is just one joint point, what should I do?

I can't check at this moment, but what I'm pretty sure works (in CAE) is:
Only view beam 1 (by assembly display options), go MPC, and select the common node, press OK.
For the slave region, view beam 2, select common node, press OK.
