Can you provide the context in which these words are used?

NX 7.5.5.4 with Teamcenter 8 on win7 64
Intel Xeon @3.2GHz
8GB RAM
Nvidia Quadro 2000

i think the OP is asking about Riks (buckling analysis) and hasn't mistyped "risk".

a google search for "riks analysis" (declining hits for "risk analysis" !) found several relevent articles.

LPF stands for load proportionality factor. It is a multiplier applied to the applied load. Arc length method is used for RIKS analysis to calculate the response, when the system is undergoing an unstable response (past the point of buckling). Topic Arc length method is too complicated to explain in detail. Read software manuals or google the topics for relevant papers.
