Hello

I am just new to this analysis.
I want to ask that what is actually "arc length" and "LPF" ????
can someone explain me in detail
thank u in advance.

Arc length is self explanatory, but LPF could mean anything, as could "riks" for that matter.

can u just explain me what exactly is "arc length"
how do we calculate it ????

hey guys what i want to know is that in the "LPF vs arc length" curve what is that arc length??
does it have some formula or what??
how is it related to the other parameters???
plzzz help

The 'Arc Length" of a sector of a circle is pi(R)/180 times the number of degrees of the Arc, where R is the radius of the circle.

As for "LPF", I could guess, but that would not be helpful here...

Did you click the link i posted? it gives a generalized formulation for arc length. Maybe its not exactly what you are looking for, but if you have a more specific need you please explain it in more depth so we may help you further.

well actually i m doing buckling ananlysis of conrod okie
so to calc. to determine the buckling load we determine the LPF vs Arc legth graph
Now i hav understood what is LPF what unable to know what is arc length
so if can u help ???
or u can also tell that how its related 2 LPF or has any connection with deformation or so
thnk u all for ur replies but still its ambiguous 2 me
