Hi all,

I have a client who is taking over 3 of 4 CRUs in a building and I'm doing the TI. The first and second CRU have two stories, and the third is a warehouse space open to the top except for a couple offices and storage closets with drop ceilings. I've placed all my fire alarm and low tension systems, and am creating my riser diagrams and am curious how people are showing things in their firms. The third bay has some roof mounted smoke detectors and a ceiling mounted WAP, would you put them on the first or second level of your riser diagrams?

I suggest you break down the riser diagram levels across the entire facility by elevation instead of whether or not a section is divided into two floors or is a high bay section. Use the elevations of the ground, the floor of the two-story section, and the roof as your break points on your riser diagram. Then, the stuff up high in the third section of the building would be shown on the second level of the riser diagram.
