Riser Teck Vertical Suspension Banding In Place

Manufactures advise the maximum self support length and or pulling tension details for this type of cable pulled vertically up by its phase conductors. I have not found any information on the vertical support intervals once pulled. It's become a standard in the mining industry to band the outer to a bracket at some interval. This banding supposedly compresses the armour enough to secure the conductors within. Seems that a few assumptions are made as to the tension applied by the banding used and to the compressive abilities of the armour to secure the conductors. Would someone have come across information on the vertical support requirements & means for Riser Teck?
Our application is for 200 meter vertical with a total of 20 meters running horizontally.

Requirements for Cable Supports in the National Electrical
Code reads as follows: 300.19 Supporting Conductors
in Vertical Raceways. (A) Spacing Intervals - Maximum.
Conductors in vertical raceways shall be supported if the
vertical rise exceeds the values in Table 300.19(A). One cable
support shall be provided at the top of the vertical raceway or
as close to the top as practical. Intermediate supports shall be
provided as necessary to limit supported conductor lengths to
not greater than those specified in Table 300.19(A).
For instance:
For 18 AWG through 8 AWG no more than 30 m
For 750 MCM no more than 11m
It is indicated at all elevation -10 ft. approx.-to provide a cable support part of the riser in order
to hang the cable grips eyes. See for instance Hubbel-Kellems support grips.
 
I would be having the fellows in the shop doing some pull-through testing on cables and banding at various tensions.
I understand that the inner jacket is ribbed to better grip the conductors and ridged to interlock with the armour.

PS, Just to be clear, I would not endorse our contractor's solution as a good one...
 
Thanks to everyone for commenting. I posted the same question to General Cable, their response with attachements:

In response to your query, once the cable has been positioned, we recommend clamp supports ate nominal intervals of 6 meters.
The clamps should be sized to the diameter of the cable.

The Vertiteck cable is provided with longitudinal ribs on the inner PVC jacket that lock into the galvanized steel interlocked armour to allow the cable to be supported in this manner.
Refer to the attached drawing that shows the construction.

We generally use "P" clamps rather than Ty-Wraps for vertical runs.
