Hi guys,

We're looking to use BN330-1032 rivnuts (not MS27130 or similar) but can't find specs for them. Any ideas ?

These guys have a much thicker wall than the MS (for a #10 screw the BNs are 0.3" dia, and the MS are 0.25").

Hi RB,

I found this:
Perhaps it helps. I thought rivnuts have gone out of favor due to spinning, stress concentration due to the knurl, etc. I still like them and have installed them on my boat.

Thx, not quite the same. My BNs look to be Hi-Shear products (and yes I've been to their site).

RB... Soooo... NAS1329, NAS1330 Rivnuts and NAS1731, NAS1732 blind-nuts W/locking Serrations [installed per NAS1733] are out of the question?

I think BN330* is a LISI part... however I did not find a spec for BN330 directly in their on-line data.
Suggest calling LISI for the specifics for BN330-* [TDS, allowables, etc].

What about NAS1734, NAS1735 Installed per NAS1736 Elliptical Blind Nuts...?? These are all-over F-16 wings [or were]

What about FTI...

Thx Will. Yes the NAS rivnuts look like the MS ones, with a smaller OD; these BN things (which we have hold of) fit fine.

more info ... BN330 is the sleeve, BN360 is the sleeve and nut combo.
