i'VE HAD TO RELOAD SOLIDWORKS 2003 FOR PC ISSUE PURPOSES, AND LOST MY PERSONAL SETTINGS SO HERE WE GO. WHEN I RIGHT CLICK ON A PART IN AN ASSY THE LIST OF OPTIONS IS HUGE. I CANT FIND THE SETTING TO MAKE IT SMALLER. i THOUGHT THERE WAS AN OPTION SOMEWHERE WHERE I CAN MAKE IT LIST AUTOMATICALLY THE MOST USED OPTIONS IMMEDIATELY, AND TO HIT THE DOWNARROWS TO GET THE EXTENDED VERSION. I USE IT FEQUENTLY FOR OPENING THE PART FILE, OR EDITING THE PART FILE, AND THOSE OPTIONS ONLY SEEM TO APPEAR AT THE DOWN ARROW LEVEL, AFTER I READ THROUGH THE GAZILLION OF OTHERS.
PLEASE SEND HELP

BOBORUSH,
Yes, RMC on your part in the assembly, then the down arrows and at the bottom of that list you will find Customize Menu. If you do not see it try clicking on a part higher on the CRT.

I think what he is looking for is in Tools>Options>System Options>General

Deselect Always show full shortcut menus.
