Have you seen this? Please understand I have no interest in Rockwell, just had to share this device with others. Don't know how we ever managed without it. Happy Labor Day.

I saw that 6 months ago at a meeting put on by Schneider (one of Rockwell's chief competitors for those who don't know), and the rumor was that this was done after these people did a similar real presentation for Allen Bradley customers. The actor they hired commented afterwards that all the stuff he had been saying meant absolutely nothing to him, and started ad-libbing that gibberish. The Rockwell people thought it was hilarious and recorded it for their superiors. What would have been really funny is to have been there when management saw it, and see if they even knew it was gibberish!

Indeed!

Did he just say dingle arm?

You have to know that is what we sound like to non technical people who work around us, or who have occasion to hear us talk in geek-speak.

This is great stuff.

I showed this to my wife, and she confirmed that observation rmw. She had no idea it was gibberish other than the fact that I was laughing. She has seen me do presentations and says that is exactly how I seem to her (except she says he was a bit cuter than me [mad])!
