I'm looking for recommendations on companies that offer small (benchtop) rolling gear checkers that have an option to be computerized.

It seems like asking the question 30 or more years ago would have come up with a larger selection of big players (ITW/Illtron, S&F) than exist now. A Vari-Roll with PC is in the running, so any suggestions in that vein would be especially welcome.

Thank you all.

Indeed, thanks guys!

For (slightly more) completeness, I had those in addition to the following:

[ul]
[li]Precision Gage Co sells the Vari-Roll ([/li]
[li]Involute Gear & Machine imports Osaka Seimitsu Kikai's GTR-4LS ( and [/li]
[li]Veit Tool & Gage ( (this is what Slone Gear sells)[/li]
[li]Marposs sells the DF62 in various configurations ([/li]
[li]Ogasawara Precision Hob Laboratory (sold by their US subsidiary Russell, Holbrook & Henderson) makes the GRT-04 ([/li]
[li]Tokyo Technical Instruments sells the TF-40NC ([/li]
[li]TechnoMax sells the DF-10 ([/li]
[/ul]

The Mahr looks nice, but it doesn't seem like they're made anymore (at least the DF1-896)? The German site doesn't list them.
The Frencos are imported into the US by Euro-Tech Corp (
