Hello,
Looking for recommendations for an imperial PD type gas meters that can be used with Propylene gas (C3H6). The issue is the seals/o-rings, typical std construction uses Buna-N which is fine for Methane, Propane, etc... but it doesn't like Propylene. I have investigated Dresser Roots rotary meters (B3 series:11M175 main - D800 pilot) and also Romet meters but neither supplies the option to switch the Buna-N with FKM, PTFE, or even Viton. This inlet fuel train is for a compliance test that will last approximately one week, so not a long term use installation. Pressures are in the oz. range and flow rates from 250-5500 CFH, 15 CFH on the pilot. Anyone have any experience using Propylene or anyone preparing to perform the Manufacturers performance test (60.5413(d))for the soon-to-be-published EPA subpart OOOO of 40 CFR part 60??
Thanks
