Rotary Shouldered Connections

My colleagues and I are trying to figure out how rotary shouldered box connection bevel diameters are determined. We looked at API RP 7G and API Spec 7. We are particulary interested in API Regular, Internal Flush, and Extra Hole connections used on drill collars. Does anyone know how these bevel diameters are sized?
