Hi!

I imported a solid body(IGES). I would like rotate 45° about Y axis.

How I make it fast?

If you go to View Manager, you can select the Orientation tab. Start a "new" orientation (top left button). A user interface will pop up and it should say Type with a drop down box: select dynamic orient.

You should see a box with a pan scroller, some misc buttons, and a "Spin" area. Use that spin area to define the rotation about which ever axis you prefer, and what ever angle you need. It might take some playing around with, like anything else in ProE, but eventually you should get what you want.

Once you hit "OK" you'll have a view saved in the list, so you can easily go back to it at any time.

I hope this helps!

Correction: you must give you new view a name, hit enter, then go back to it and click "edit" on the top menu options under view manager > orientation. I forgot to mention that step. Sorry!
