In Pro-E I was able to rotate a model view a specified number of degrees about the x, y, or z axis and save it as a new view. Can this be done in SolidWorks? In SW I can of course rotate in 15 degree increments with the arrow keys, but I need more control. I can also use the free rotate, but it is difficult to get the vertical edges perfectly vertical for appearance. I have searched SW help, this forum, and FAQ.

Sure.

Different ways to do this, one of which is to create a line in a sketch that represents the angle you want. Add a plane on the end of the line (select end point and line, add plane Normal to curve). Select new plane and in the View toolbar select the Normal option. Save that view.
