Hi,

maybe just simple question, but now i solve simultaneously some another partial problems, and currently i am not able to solve this one.

i model a cable by link10 going under a angle according to attached picture. I do not care about upper support, but in lower suppor i want to apply a force in direction of the cable.

i tried to deffine a local CS and hoped, that when i apply support it will by in correct direction, but this did not work.

Any input is highly appreciated becouse of deadline and lack of time.

i tried to model the cables horizontaly (this does not solve my previous problem - finally cable will be a part of a bridge) and apply the force in direction of cable, but i want to model slack of cable from self-weight as well - so i decomposed gravity acceleration to x and z direction, but after non-lin solution i can see only symmertic deformation in z-direction. ...?
