I am have the darnest time in rotating a part to the right axis in SW. Example: In Autocad I make the center section(HUB) then make a blade on the outer perimeter .then I rotate the blade to the angle desired.being able to rotate the object in only the view chosen. In SW i can't control just one axis without affecting the other.

I am not sure if you are talking about a Part model or an Assembly, but it shouldn't matter.

If you want to move a part in only one axis, select either a model edge or temporary axis with your mouse, while you have the Rotate tool active.

If you are talking about creating a Part model, and you want a feature to be at a specific angle, then you have to dimension the angle in the Sketch of your feature. Ray Reynolds
