Rotating Part To A Certain Number of Degrees

I have a rectangular bar with a oblong
slot through the middle. In the center
of the slot I have an axis to rotate around.
How can I rotate the bar around the axis
a certain number of degrees? (like, for example 2 degrees)
instead of free dragging it, which does not good...

Set up an angle mate between two planes (preferred) or a plane and a surface.

OR…………You could rotate the model using the arrow keys set to a pre-determined amount.
Go to Tools/Options/Systems Option/View Rotation and set the arrow key degrees box to what ever you want.

The advantage of the angle mate is that you can then control it in Animator...if you're into that kind of thing.
