Round Bar BS 970 EN21 / EN33 1

I am trying to procure round bar as per BS 970 EN21/EN33. But my vendor is giving BS 970 655M13. My vendor is informing that BS 970 EN21/EN33 is withdrawn & replaced by BS 970 655M13. Is this true. Is 655M13 equivalent to EN21/EN33. Can anyone help me. Sorry, I have no idea about BS standards. I work on American standards only

Technically, the whole BS970 series of standards is now withdrawn.

655M13 is usually sold as a match for EN36B and contains 0.7 - 1.0% Cr, whereas EN33 specified 0.3% max Cr - so certainly not a direct equivalent.
