I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this. I'm working on LDC 2009, seems I loose a command each week. This time its when I right click on my mouse. I used to have the option of "select similar" that's gone, also if I selected an image I could right click and go to "image" which is no longer there. Plus, when I select say a line in the drawing and type "e" for erase in the command line it then asks me to select the line to erase. Whereas before I could select that line type "e" and be done with it. Any tips would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Right-click in your command window, click options, go to user preferences tab, click "right-click customization" and change your settings to do what you want.

Ya I already took a look at it everything seems to be in order there.

Thank you

for your erase command, type PICKFIRST and set it to 1. you should then be able to select the line first and then enter the erase command! will look more into your right click issue and get back to you.regards...

youngEIT, Thank you that pick first plan sloved all the problems no need to look into the right click issue.

Thank you

great! i still do not understand though how pickfirst was controlling the right click menu!

I think its because it wasn't recognizing all of the properties that were being selected. Example, I could select a raster image it would show raster image in my properties box and have all the properties listed there. However, it wouldn't show what layer it was on in my layer manager window. In the layer manager window it would just show which layer I had current.
