I know calcium oxide is very commonly used as a desiccant in rubber compounds, but I can't use CaO. Are there other desiccants that can be used?

Thanks,
tom

It adversely affects the curing of millable polyurethanes.

Have you checked with your supplier? They might be able to suggest an alternative.

Have you tried MgO? Sometimes it can be used as desiccant because of his hygroscopic nature.
