Rubber Extruder Design Resources

Hello,

Can anyone direct me to any good source(s) on the design of extruder components(barrel, screw, dies) for thermosects(NR, XNBR, HNBR, etc)? The vast majority of books and other resources I've found are predominately, if not exclusively, about thermoplastic extrusion.

Dru, I had the very same problem as you. Every book I could find was plastics related. In the end I talked to the technical guys at Farrel Corp and got a shed-load of very good information from them.
