Rubber lining against acrynilnitrile

We are trying to line some vessels against this difficult chemical (50 Degree C.) We selected Butyle Rubber as possibly the most resistant but it all falls of after a few months. Anyone got any experience of this problem ?

Useful contact may be the technical chemist at Robinson Brothers Ltd. West Bromwich I know they have a booklet available that talk's about rubber lining, one of thier products ZDBCX is specifically aimed at this market. More information may be found at thier web site.

TrevorD Thanks for suggestion of Robinson Bros Ltd. I called them today and they think that for Acrylonitrile duty, Butyl is not a "good choice" becuase there is not a good material for this duty, However, from a range of bad options, Neoprene is probably a better material. We will endeavour to get this into use. Many thanks for interest. David W
