I am working on a system using a cylinder of rubber as "fluid" in a jack amplifier
I am looking for pre-designing information on :
- COMPRESSION MODULUS vs SHORE "A" DUROMETER for an "unknown" rubber.
- FRICTION and DAMPING factors

Curves will be wellcomen
Any help would be appreciated.

Dunlop or any other vendor can give you typical curves for their elastomer. Be carefull with compression deflection. The stiffness of the block depends on the shape factor - that is what does the perimeter look like.
