running inp files using abaqus command

I've just installed abaqus in laptop. but i'm not able run inp files using abaqus command.I know the same question was posted before. But i donot know how to set the variables ..someone please help me..

can someone give me the detailed procedure for the same

On my student's edition installation you just need to ype:

abq642se job=jobname

No suffix for jobname, and all the environment variables nad paths should have been set up during the installation.
