You say it JUST started to happen? Was it working OK before this? And when was the last time it worked OK, and what have you done to your system since that time?

It started about 3 weeks ago. It was working fine before then. I'm sure that I may have installed something that caused the problem but I have rolled back Windows all the way to back to November but the problem is still there.
Not sure if this helps. I think I installed a couple diffrent autocad file viewers and have since removed them.

Are you getting any kind of a log file in NX, either a syslog inside of NX itself, or at least a log from the FlexLicense server? Is you are getting one or both of these that shows any kind of failure with some diagnostic text, I would recommend that you cantact GATC and have them look at the text files as they might shed some light on what's failing and why.

Looked for syslog or other log files that might help but could not find anything. Has anyone experienced this problem with runtime?

Have you recently installed/ upgraded hardware or drivers around the time this started?

Have not added any hardware but I may have did driver updates during that time. I did do a bunch of updates from microsoft.

Did the updates include internet explorer 7?

If you have installed Internet Explorer 7, then the "fix" as provided by UGS, is to delete the file psapi.dll from the UGII_ROOT_DIR folder.
