Please can anyone help
I have got a procedure with which was done ASPI5L GR B.
The s number is 1 group 1. Will I be able to weld A106 GR B , A234 WPB AND A105 materials. I can't find any information in ASME IX regarding S numbers being used as the Procedure Quals Coupon. It only states P Numbers.

Please review ASME B&PV Code, Section IX, Article IV, specifically QW-420.2. The information regarding qualification of a welding procedure using a range of material identified by S-No versus P-No is provided.

Typically, if a weld procedure is qualified using an S-No base material, the weld procedure is limited to the range of S-No base materials. If the weld procedure was qualified using a P-No base material, the procedure can be used on a range of S-No and P-No base materials.

Metengr is correct, I'll just add P1 to P1 qualifies P1 to P1 and S1 to S1 and P1 to S1. P1 to S1 qualifies the same way, however, S1 to S1 qualifies S1 to S1 only.
