SA234 WPB Butt Weld Cap to CSA 550 Grade Material

I have a piece of 0.5" 550 pipe material and want to weld a 234 wpb cap to the pipe. The hydro test pressure is 2048psi. Is the SA 234 WPB pipe cap adadqate? In accordance with ASME B16.9 it referres to the design pressure of the pipe we are less than 100F so is he pipe cap capable of standing the test pressure?

Per UG-44(b) the calculation to SA-234 WPB B 16.9 caps which have the same wall thickness and material design strength as SA-106B pipe. See UG 27(c)(1) (tr=PR/SE-0.6P)
