Hello to all !

one simple question i have..

base material : SA 312 Tp 304L

A further stipulation: Yes, if material is not subject to imnpact testing.

I was under the impression that austenitic stainless steel alloys are typically exempt from impact testing.

Best regards - Al

Indeed, but certain applications like cryogenic service in B31.3 may require impact testing, even for austenitic stainless steels I think.

I should have added the deposited weld metal under materials - not just the base metal.
