Hello,

I was trying to use the post processor (redesign) option in SACS for a simple frame. When my model contain tubular members the redesign worked fine but when I changed the members to non tubular it gives me a warning "Member Redesign Failed"..

Can anyone explain the reason for those warnings..

Thanks

The dialogue box which comes up when carrying out member review in SACS processor has different input for Tubular and non-tubular. That of Tubular has got OD and WT and that of non-tubular e.g Wide Flange has the member section only. This is the reason you have the error message (memb Redesign failed). Better changing it in precede or data gen.
