Actually I need the fatigue data for A 656, but if there is a SAE equivalent, perhaps it is in my material database.

Is there any site that just lists equivalencies?

And a broader question is if you don't have fatigue data, and you don't have an equivalent's fatigue data, what is the best way to guess fatigue properties.

Some people find fatigue data which has matching ultimate tensile strength. But my experience is that ultimate tensile strength and fatigue life don't correlate very well.

The grades designated in ASTM A 656 are 50, 60, 70, and 80. These grades correspond to those in the now obsolete SAE standard SAE J1392, i.e. Grade 50 = 050, 60 = 060, etc. SAE J1392 was replaced by SAE J2240 and now uses SI instead of inch-pound units, so the equivalent grades are 340, 420, 490, and 550 respectively.
